Hey! :) Just wanted to open a thread up on the forum to allow suggestions and for people to have their questions answered. Will be posting updates here when I have them. So to start it off here is the first update:


So Mod V1.1 has gotten a few new features,

The value slider for torque multiplier has been added to the main menu:

The value slider for max players has been increased from 5 to 11 to allow for even bigger servers:


Planned Features (^^ Relates to above)

* Being able to disable/enable map borders

* ^^ Respawn player if reaches lower than something value under the map.

* Ability to change time of day ingame.

* Changing default spawn location

* (Probably impossible) Being able to get information from the forum (and global chat in main menu)

* Music ingame

Yes, I know, alot of these might not be completely doable, but hey! It is a fun project which so far, I actually have learned alot from and that me and my friends really have been enjoying.

So big thanks to the creators of this beautiful game, continue doing what you are doing and hope to see the new version soon!

I mean, it might be possible, but I only have a slight access to the source code, which means that alot of functions are impossible for me to edit. but its a good idea :)

Just browse and find the .exe for sledsim 2.1

To install just simply choose the executable path to sledsimulator.exe (the file you use to start the game with) and then press patch. Should you get an error, remove the CSharp-Assembly_backup file from "Sledsimulator/data/managed".

Actually I was fiddling around with some stuff, we'll see if I can get it finished this week. Though work on the mod is hard, because I am only working with decompiled source code, and injecting changes. Which means that implementing "new" features is impossible. I can only modify existing ones.

Instead of trying to remove the borders, why not just add the option to spawn your sled outside of them? You made spawners for the center of the world, mountain, etc.?

I did that yeah, but there is really not that much space to ride in out there and the border walls are really thick, but I could prob send u that too yeah :P

Barriers can now be removed using "Force remove bounds" in the ingame pause menu

Position resets are accurate.

Fixed random bugs (lel).

Notes

The outside of the map is quite vast, just as a slight warning, and you can (and will) fall off the edge when you go too far. Trees also lose their collision out there so wont be as realistic.
